(1) What is "LOUNGE TV"?
(A) It's a half-hour variety show
that can be be seen on local cable-TV channels in the Northeastern United States.
The program originates in Norwood, Massachusetts(U.S.).
(2) Who is the host?
(A) Joseph Gallant, who previously hosted the long-running
talk/variety series "NOT QUITE LIVE".
(3) Are there guests, or is there a cast of regulars instead?
(A) Our show has two other regulars--a vocalist and a keyboard
player (who doubles as our Music Director).
(4) Who is the program's regular Vocalist?
(A) Her name is JOAN GOODMAN.
(5) Who is the Musical Director/Keyboard Player?
(A) His name is DAVID CUDDY.
(6) Why is the show off the air?
(A) As part of the change that will see responsiblity for local cable access programming in Norwood shift from Comcast to a new organization funded by but independent of Norwood's cable systems, the studio at 375 Vanderbilt Avenue in Norwood where our show had been taped since 1998 has been closed.
A new cable access studio at another location will be opened in the near-term future. Until that happens, "Lounge TV" will be off the air.
(7) When will "LOUNGE TV" return?
(A) Once the new studio is open, we will resume production of the show and our show will return to the air.
Our homepage will be updated as soon as we have further information concerning the return of our show.
(8) When will the program premiere in my area?
(A) First, we have to work to resuming production of "LOUNGE TV". Then, "LOUNGE TV" will return in Norwood, Massachusetts. Once we're back on locally, we can begin working on expanding our show's reach to include much of the "Northeast Corridor"
between Boston and New York City.
