My name is Joan Goodman, and I'm a vocalist with a trained soprano voice. My experience includes numerous TV appearances in the Boston area, including my current role as a regular on the variety series "LOUNGE TV". I also have extensive experience in live singing performances at clubs and restaurants in the Boston, New York, Catskill Mountains (upstate New York), Los Angeles/Orange County, and San Fransisco/Oakland areas, as well as on a cruise ship crossing the Atlantic Ocean.

I'm available to perform singing "gigs" at restaurants and nightclubs in the Boston and Providence areas, as well as in the recording of "singing" commercials in the Boston, Providence, Hartford/New Haven, and New York City areas.

While I enjoy listening to all kinds of music, and can sing country music and 1950's/1960's pop/rock "oldies" music, my favorite kind of music to sing is what's referred to as "popular standards". "Popular Standards" include songs composed by such greats as Cole Porter, Rogers and Hammerstein, the Gershwin Brothers, and of course, the great songs from the Broadway and Hollywood songbooks. If you wish to hire me to record a singing commercial, you should know that while I can perform as part of a group of singers assembled to record the jingle, that I prefer performing as a solo vocalist.
